Description
Inventor Challenge is a full week of creativity and problem-solving in action. Each day brings a new hands-on challenge for teams of campers to tackle together. We’ll explore opportunities to improve, optimize, and re-engineer existing items, and investigate creative solutions to everyday problems.
Through brainstorming, collaboration, independent thinking, and iteration, kids build resilience and confidence as they approach challenges from new angles and test their ideas in meaningful ways.
- A different challenge each day, with campers working in groups to brainstorm and build a working solution
- Small groups and guided instruction
- No prior STEM, coding or robotics experience required
The Inventor Challenge is all about empowering kids to think outside the box, believe in their ideas, and bring those ideas to life.
Every week of camp includes:
- Daily, intentional structured and unstructured outdoor activities
- At least one walking field trip to nearby attractions (splash pad, museum, art gallery, jax jungle, etc)
- A balanced mix of structured activities and guided opportunities to explore individual interests
