STEM Camps

coding, robotics & tinkering camps

Each codelets camp has been thoughtfully hand-crafted to provide a high-quality, engaging maker experience. Our camps combine hands-on STEM, creative tinkering and intentional outdoor play. Each week is packed with opportunities to explore, build and problem solve and collaborate.

Our goal with each camp is to provide unique and intentional learning opportunities and experiences, leaving each child with new tools and skills to take out into the world with them.

Each week is built around a unifying theme, carefully planned to connect hands-on making, technology, and creative problem-solving. Kids don’t rotate through random stations or one-off crafts. Instead, they work through meaningful challenges that build skills progressively and lead to real, tangible learning outcomes that they’re excited to take home and apply.

We use a wide range of tools and technology to support each STEM camp. From kid-safe hand tools and construction systems, to varied coding environments, robotics kits, circuits, digital design and modelling tools and software, 3D printing and more. The focus is always on empowering kids to create confidently, helping them build things that may have felt intimidating or out of reach at first. We want each and every kid to leave our camps and programs bursting with pride in themselves and what they’ve made.

A True Maker Experience

Our camps are rooted in maker culture:

  • Kids design, test, revise, and improve their own ideas
  • Independent creativity is balanced with structure and guidance
  • Problem-solving is a primary feature of each program

Whether they’re building physical mechanisms, coding systems, or working on hybrid digital-physical projects, campers are actively thinking, making, and learning, never just following instructions.

Intentional Outdoor Time

Outdoor time at codelets is just as thoughtfully planned as our indoor programming. We offer a blend of organized and unstructured daily outdoor activities that give kids space to reset, collaborate, and move. These periods are designed to maintain the rhythm of the day and encourage social connection. We also know the importance of a little variety, and each week includes a walking field trip to a nearby attraction – places like the museum, splash pad, art gallery, library, jax jungle and more – where we can expand our learning and re-energize ourselves.

Designed for Curious, Capable Kids

Our STEM, coding, robotics and making camps are ideal for kids who love to build, tinker, explore, and ask why. Our goal is not to overwhelm, but to stretch their sense of what they can do, using high-quality materials, clear structure, and supportive instruction.

This is camp for kids who want to make real things, learn how systems work, and feel genuinely proud of what they create.
